Perfect Fit blinds are one of our best sellers. Their easy installation, no drill, no mess design and timeless, classic look, makes them an excellent addition to any home. Available in a range of styles, from honeycomb to pleated and venetian, Perfect Fit Blinds are a great option to suit any preference. 

You might think with a bestselling product like Perfect Fit Blinds, there could be no improvements, however at Direct Order Blinds, we are consistently striving to offer the highest quality products to our customers. Our supplier, Louvolite, have manufactured a new and improved Perfect Fit Frame that offers more benefits to customers than ever before! 

What’s the difference between the new and original frame? 

The original Perfect Fit frame had angular edges on the corners, making it look harsher when fitted on uPVC windows. The new Perfect Fit frame has curved corners, giving it a more aesthetically pleasing look that blends more seamlessly into the window. 

A common concern for customers, especially when it comes to black out blinds, is if any light will seep through around the corners of the frame. The original Perfect Fit frame let in a limited amount of light around the corners of the frame, but this issue has been resolved with the new frame. The new Perfect Fit frame has combatted this problem and has thicker corner covers, reducing the amount of light that seeps through. 

Another improvement that comes with the new Perfect Fit frame is a brand new white handle as opposed to a plastic one. The handle is sturdier than the original making it more likely to stand the test of time and easier to hold onto. 

The new Perfect Fit frame is easier and quicker to assemble than ever before. Whilst with the original product the corners had to be screwed into place, the new design is assembled by clicking the corner joints into place. 

Is the new Perfect Fit frame more expensive?

No, the new Perfect Fit Frame is the same cost as the original. 

Do you still offer the original Perfect Fit frames? 

Yes! The original Perfect Fit frames are available to purchase on our website while stocks last. 

What colours are the new Perfect Fit frames available in?

The new Perfect Fit frames are currently available in all frame colours in our Perfect Fit Honeycomb, Pleated and Venetian ranges.  New Roller and Wooden Venetian frames will be coming soon!

Should I buy the new Perfect Fit frame or the original? 

If you are a new customer looking to buy a Perfect Fit blind, we advise you to opt for the newest model. This is because if you are looking to buy more blinds in the future for your home then the newest model would be the best option as it will always be available to buy again. 

However, if you are a returning customer who already has the original Perfect Fit Blind frame and you want to add more to your home, then the best solution is to buy the original frame, so it matches the rest of the blinds in your home. However, it is worth noting that we only have limited stock of this, so won’t be available forever. We expect supplies to run out Spring 2025 but of course we will keep you informed if this changes.

PLEASE NOTE

New frames are currently only available on Perfect Fit Honeycomb, Pleated and Venetian. 

Honeycomb and Pleated Blinds will feature our new redesigned rail and white handle. Except for Cream, Golden Oak, Mahogany and Silver original and new frames, which will both use the original rail with clear handle.

Venetian Blinds will have the original rail and clear handle.
