Perfect fit shutters are a great alternative to the classic plantation style shutters. Easy to install with no drills, power tools or screws, they just clip in between the glass and rubber beading of your uPVC windows.
Will Perfect Fit Shutters damage my windows?
Unlike traditional blinds and fitting methods, the Perfect Fit shutters come pre-assembled and simply clip to your windows. They won’t damage the wall or leave any mess and are ideal for rented properties.
Why should I have Perfect Fit Shutters in my home?
Perfect Fit shutters have plenty of additional benefits. They are low maintenance and easy to install and clean, saving time and hassle. They are inherently child safe due to their cordless design and pose no risk to young children or babies.
How do I open and close the shutters?
The shutters can be operated by hand and opened and closed easily. It’s also possible for tilt rods to be placed on your blinds on the left or right side of each shutter to control them. If there is a handle on the left or right side of your window, the tilt rod must be placed on the opposite side.
How do I clean the Perfect Fit shutters?
Due to their durable and waterproof material, the shutters are easy to clean, and a damp cloth can be used to wipe away any marks or stains. It’s equally as easy to clean your windows as the shutters can simply be clipped off for full access to your windows and clipped back on once you have finished.
What colours do the Perfect Fit Shutters come in?
We only stock our Perfect Fit Shutters in Cotton White; this shade perfectly matches uPVC windows. Whilst other websites may offer the Perfect Fit Shutters in another shade of white, it’s a slightly warmer shade that doesn’t match the uPVC windows as well.
Are Perfect Fit shutters suitable for my windows?
While the shutters are designed for uPVC windows, not all are suitable. A bead depth of 18-30mm is required for the brackets, and a clearance of 25mm or more for the shutters framework to sit. Can I have Perfect Fit Shutters if my windows have a handle?
To ensure window handles can still be used, we can fit a “handle rebate” on the left, right or bottom of a Perfect Fit Shutter panel.
Can I have Perfect Fit Shutters in my bathroom?
Yes! Because the shutters are made from a PVC Polyvinyl, Perfect Fit Shutters are a great choice for your kitchens as well as bathrooms.
Can Perfect Fit Shutters be fitted on my French doors?
Yes! Perfect Fit Shutters are an ideal solution for French doors and patio doors due to their design, which makes it easy to open and close your doors whilst maintaining coverage of the glass.
